RXed AI News

AI to the bone.

AI to the bone.

An X-ray lightbox revealing a machine's inner gears — AI to the bone

Start with the goal. You have maybe 15 minutes a day for AI news, and the industry produces thousands of items in that window. Most of them are press releases wearing a headline. Somebody has to cut. RXed cuts: 8 curated stories a day, one category tag each, so you read only the beat you care about.

The rule behind every piece: a claim gets a number or a mechanism, or it doesn’t run. We verify before we believe, and we say so when we can’t.

Independent and European by default, written for readers in the US and EU. No ads, no affiliate links, no sponsored placements.

And because knowing isn’t the same as doing: Blueprints, Audits and Model Pricing turn the news into decisions. Which tools to trust, what they really cost, what to build first.

Honesty first: most of what you read here is machine-made. An automated pipeline — running on local, open-weight models on a machine in Jan’s office — reads the sources, selects the stories, writes the summaries and publishes them on a schedule. No human editor reviews a daily briefing before it goes live; that is exactly what the AI-generated label above each one means (EU AI Act, Art. 50).

What IS human: the editorial rules the pipeline follows, the scoring methodologies behind the audits and scans, the blueprints (built and tested by hand before publication), and the weekly deep-dives. When we get something wrong, tell us — hello@rxed.ai or @RXed_EU — and we fix the pipeline, not just the page.

RXed is one engineer, not a newsroom. Jan spent 20 years in energy engineering — heating, cooling, megawatts, the physical world — and now leads AI adoption at a large engineering firm. The pipeline behind this site runs on local, open-weight models on a machine in his office, and every Blueprint automation was built and tested on that same machine before publication. The belief underneath the whole site: the domain expert leads, AI assists. Daily posts on X: @RXed_EU
