“Cyara is the global leader in AI-powered customer experience assurance, committed to eradicating bad CX.” — the vendor’s own words

Twenty years of contact-centre testing and real telephony in 140+ countries, now with a genuine AI governance suite bolted on. It is the only platform here that tests your IVR, your carrier routing and your GenAI bot in one place, and the only one whose developer documentation you cannot read without being a customer.

Best for: Regulated enterprises running a real contact centre where the AI agent is one channel among IVR, carriers, WebRTC and human agents, and where governance evidence and global call-path coverage matter more than putting the test suite in git.

Users (official only)
Not disclosed as a user or customer count. Cyara states it serves hundreds of the world's leading brands and assures more than 350 million customer journeys per year, with 1M+ assured AI-generated responses, true in-country dialing in 140+ countries and coverage of 420+ carriers. Founded 2006 by Alok Kulkarni, Bonny Malik and Luan Tran; CEO is Sushil Kumar as of March 2026. K1 Investment Management invested over $350M in January 2022, followed by the Botium acquisition (2022) and Spearline (2023). (source, 2026-09-01)
Enterprise (only tier)Custom, quoted per deploymentNo published rate card, no self-serve entry point, no free trial. Demo request or contact sales is the only path in. Also listed on AWS Marketplace as the Cyara Automated CX Assurance Platform

Cyara publishes no pricing of any kind. Independent comparisons in 2026 list it as enterprise-custom alongside Bluejay and Hamming, against Coval and Cekura which do publish rates. Implementation is typically project-based with a dedicated team rather than self-serve onboarding, so the real first-year cost includes services, not just licence.

Strengths

Cyara owns the layer everyone else assumes works. Physical infrastructure in 140+ countries and 200+ points of presence places genuine in-country calls across 420+ carriers, so when your voice agent is unreachable from Manila it tells you that instead of grading a call that never connected. The channel span is the widest in this category: IVR, VoIP, WebRTC, chat, SMS, email and conversational AI tested in one toolchain, with handoffs between bots and human agents assured end to end. AI Trust is a real governance product rather than a red-teaming checkbox, and its Bias module analysing output for systemic deviation across customer segments is something no startup in this space ships. Twenty years, $350M from K1, two acquisitions folded in, and a no-code design that lets QA teams work without engineering support.

Honest dings

For a company selling AI trust, Cyara is remarkably closed about its own AI. No model is named, no versioning policy is published, and the drill-downs that justify a violation say nothing about what produced the verdict. The developer surface is the other problem: a REST API exists, but the reference lives behind a customer login, and there is no SDK, no CLI, no config-as-code and no MCP or OpenTelemetry support, so tests cannot live in your repo and results cannot flow into observability you already run. No pricing is published at any level. Every performance number in circulation traces back to Cyara or to a Forrester study Cyara commissioned, and the platform was absent from the 2026 independent Testing the Testers benchmark. Reviewers also flag that implementation needs a dedicated project team rather than a self-serve onboarding flow.
