“Outbound agents for every rep” — the vendor’s own words

Every independent review still quotes $1,740 a month; the live pricing page starts at $0 and $20 a seat, so the self-serve relaunch has made most of what you will read about Unify wrong. The agent work is real, the credit meter is where the money actually goes, and the data quality underneath is the complaint that keeps recurring.

Best for: Small B2B teams who already know their ICP, have qualified traffic worth acting on, and want research, list-building and sequencing behind one prompt instead of three tools. At $0 to $60 a seat, the self-serve tiers are now genuinely testable, which is the whole point: run it against a real segment for a month, watch the credit burn, and independently verify a sample of contacts before you trust a sequence to it. Skip it if you only need cold email, where a dedicated sequencer costs a tenth as much; if your accounts are mostly European, where the data thins out; or if what you actually want is signal-triggered autonomy, which still sits behind an annual Business contract.

Not disclosed. Unify publishes $786,008,510 of pipeline generated to date and names Perplexity, Cursor, Airwallex, Flock Safety, Juicebox and Pylon as customers; the CEO stated 8x year-over-year revenue growth and a team of about 40 at the July 2025 Series B. (source, 2026-08-31)

Base$20/seat/mo800 credits per seat per month, billed monthly, unlimited seats, AI email copywriting, phone and email enrichment, job-change and hiring signals, credit top-ups that pool across the team and carry over up to 12 months
Pro$60/seat/mo2,400 credits per seat per month, read-only Salesforce and HubSpot sync, Slack notifications, team management, sequence analytics and rep activity reporting. 14-day free trial, no credit card
BusinessCustom, annualCustom credit pool per workspace. The only plan with GPT 5.6, website intent and product usage signals, signal-triggered automations, automated Plays, read-write Salesforce and HubSpot, open API and webhooks, dialer, deliverability analytics, pipeline attribution, and managed Gmail/Outlook mailboxes at $25 per mailbox per month. SSO is an add-on

Read the plan table twice before comparing Unify to anything. Every independent review published up to August 2026 prices this product at $1,740 per month on an annual Growth contract, roughly $21,000 a year for a single included seat; the live pricing page now starts at $0 and $20 per seat per month, so the third-party numbers describe a plan structure that no longer fronts the site. The catch is what moved down-market and what did not: automated Plays, signal-triggered automation, website and product intent, the API, and read-write CRM sync are all Business-only, and Business is still custom and annual. So the self-serve tiers buy you an agentic prospecting and sequencing seat, not the autonomous signal-to-send machine the marketing describes. Credits, not the subscription, decide the bill: a list search is cheap, phone enrichment is 4 credits a record, and deep multi-step agent runs across many accounts are where the balance goes. Unify hard-stops when credits run out rather than charging on, which is the right default.

Strengths

Unify collapses a stack. Signals, AI qualification, prospecting, enrichment, copywriting, multi-channel sequencing, managed deliverability and CRM sync sit in one system, and the time saved against a hand-assembled Clay plus Smartlead plus 6sense setup is the honest reason companies buy it. The agent layer is not a chat wrapper: agents run continuously in the background generating structured Observations about accounts, you build your own by declaring typed questions with an optional guidance prompt, and those agents become qualification gates inside Plays that prospect, enrich and enrol people automatically. You can watch an agent's reasoning, which sources it read and how it concluded, and that visibility is the thing that makes a system acting in your name auditable at all. The MCP work is unusually complete for a GTM vendor: a remote server with 71 tools running the same agent as Unify Chat, scoped to the calling user's permissions, plus an MIT-licensed plugin conforming to the Agent Plugins 1.0.0 spec so Claude Code, Cursor or Codex can drive outbound directly. Guardrails that matter to a small team are present too: dynamic exclusions for customers, competitors and open deals, managed mailbox warmup and rotation, and a hard credit stop instead of an open meter. SOC 2 Type II, a DPA and a trust centre are published. And the company is well funded, with $40M raised in July 2025 at a $260M valuation, led by Battery with OpenAI's Startup Fund participating.

Honest dings

The published tiers and the product being reviewed are not the same product. Automated Plays, signal-triggered automation, first-party website and product intent, the API and webhooks, and read-write CRM sync are all Business-only, and Business is custom and annual. Buy Pro at $60 a seat and you get an excellent agentic prospecting and sequencing seat; the signal-to-send autonomy that the homepage sells still needs a sales conversation. Second, data quality is the complaint that keeps recurring. The most detailed negative review on G2, from February 2026, reports prospecting surfacing contacts who left their companies three to five years ago, phone enrichment described as very bad, and a Salesforce integration that made a mess of the CRM. Unify's own answer is that it is a vetted marketplace naming the provider behind each result rather than a black-box data layer, which helps you diagnose bad data but does not prevent it. Third, cost is genuinely hard to forecast. Salesdorado, testing the platform, says credit consumption cannot be estimated until the machine has run for months, and Unify's own FAQ concedes deep agentic workflows run high. Fourth, European coverage is weaker than US coverage on both data and signals, by the same reviewer's assessment, which matters if your target accounts are here. Fifth, there is no eval surface: you can test an agent on a few sample records, but nothing scores research accuracy at scale or catches a regression when a prompt or data vendor changes, on a system whose whole job is to make claims about companies in emails you sign. Sixth, model choice is not yours, and the better model is a plan boundary. Finally, the community footprint is thin for the category, with essentially no discussion in the places outbound tools are usually dissected.
