Hatch

Visit usehatchapp.com
“Hatch is the complete AI CSR platform for service businesses, with AI agents across calls, texts, and emails.” — the vendor’s own words

A real AI receptionist for US home-services shops — voice, SMS and email agents that book into ServiceTitan — but Hatch will not publish a price and will not say which model is talking to your customers.

Best for: US home-services and home-improvement operators — HVAC, plumbing, roofing, windows — already running ServiceTitan, AccuLynx or LeadPerfection with enough lead volume that missed calls and dropped follow-ups cost more than the contract. Not a fit outside the US (10DLC, TCPA and the whole integration list are American), not a fit for a small shop that cannot commit annually, and not a fit for anyone whose procurement requires knowing which model processes customer conversations.

Approximately $34 million annual run rate in March 2026, up 92% year over year (Yelp Q1 2026 earnings call); $25 million ARR in November 2025 at acquisition. Customer or seat counts are not disclosed (source, 2026-03)
Hatch StandardQuote onlylead response and follow-up across channels, AI + humans in one workspace, CRM and lead-source workflows
Hatch ProQuote onlymore contacts, AI conversations and messaging included, custom reporting, marketing blasts
Hatch EnterpriseQuote onlyanalytics and operational oversight for high-volume, multi-location teams

Ask for the base platform fee at your location count, the per-conversation or per-message overage rate, any one-time implementation fee, and the exit terms on the annual contract — in writing. Reviewers who were unhappy were most often unhappy about a line item they had not seen before signing, including one who reported being charged the start-up fee every month for a year.

Strengths

Hatch does one job and the plumbing behind it is deep. AI agents answer inbound calls, texts and emails, qualify the caller, answer from your own knowledge, check the address is in your service area, book straight onto the ServiceTitan calendar — Adaptive Capacity rules included — or LeadPerfection, transfer a live call to a person when it should, and write the disposition and transcript back to the CRM. Around twenty CRM integrations and eighteen lead sources (Angi, Thumbtack, Porch, Modernize, Google LSA, Yelp) mean it sits where the leads already land. Compliance is treated as product, not afterthought: 10DLC registration, sender identification, holiday and business-hours gating, removal rules, and a required automated-call disclosure in outbound voice greetings. There is a documented public REST API with Bearer keys, webhooks, a Zapier app and a BI-ready bulk export, plus SOC 2 Type II and a Vanta trust centre. Yelp bought the company for $271.2 million in February 2026 and reported it at a $34 million run rate growing 92% — this is not a startup that might disappear next quarter.

Honest dings

Two things a buyer should not have to accept. First, the model is a black box: nowhere in the documentation, the marketing or the trust centre does Hatch say which model speaks to your customers, so you cannot assess it, cannot tell when it changes under you, and cannot compare it to anything. Second, nothing is priced in public — three tiers, no numbers, an annual contract per location, platform fee plus usage, and a sales call to find out. Operators report $600-900 a month. Review sentiment splits hard along exactly that line: Capterra sits at 3.5/5 across roughly 40 reviews with a bimodal distribution (57% five-star, 30% one-star), value-for-money is the lowest sub-score at 3.3, and the recurring complaints are billing surprises and support responsiveness, not the AI. G2's 4.3/5 across 77 reviews is the more flattering of the two. There is also no way to teach the system from your own transcripts, no MCP or A2A surface, and no citation display to show what the agent grounded an answer on.

Prices and details change — this passport is re-verified at least quarterly.
