Siro
The API is better documented than the AI: OAuth, published rate limits and signed webhooks sit under three headline numbers — 36% higher close rates, 30% less turnover, 10x faster coaching — that ship with no sample size, no window and no control group.

Strengths
Siro solved the capture problem nobody else in conversation intelligence had to: a phone in a pocket, recording a two-hour in-home close with no internet, splitting a day of door knocks into separate conversations automatically, pausing for incoming calls, uploading when signal returns. Everything else stacks on that. The 2026 release run is dense and coherent — Organizational Context in December, five coaching tools in January, Halftime live guidance to general availability in February after a 50-team beta, Debrief Call and Siro Chat in March, an analytics rebuild and dealership integrations in April, automatic outcome labelling in May, rep profiles and streaks in May, HIPAA in June, GDPR in August. The developer surface is better than the category deserves: public docs with no login, OAuth 2.0, a published rate limit, Svix webhooks with signature verification, deep links and an llms.txt. Customer evidence is named and specific rather than anonymised — American Standard at +21% close rate, Culligan at 17% more units sold versus non-adopting dealers, Berman Auto at +23% repair-order size, Basements Plus going from near-zero rep engagement on a competitor to 55% weekly. ServiceTitan chose Siro to power Field Pro after a competitive evaluation, which is the strongest third-party signal in the file. And the 4.8 from roughly 1,300 App Store ratings is the only large, unconflicted sample of user sentiment anywhere in this category.
Honest dings
The three numbers Siro sells on — 36% higher close rates, 30% lower rep turnover, 10x faster coaching cycles — all trace to a single May 2025 press release, and none carries a sample size, a time window or a control group. They are repeated everywhere and falsifiable nowhere. Siro publishes no accuracy figure of its own; the only quantified transcription evidence is a case study written by AssemblyAI, its speech-to-text vendor, which incidentally confirms Siro churned off a previous provider whose errors were generating support tickets. No model is ever named. G2 shows a perfect 5.0 from 25 reviews, which is not a rating, and the reviewer base skews solar and door-to-door rather than the in-home closers the product is sold on. Real complaints are consistent: battery drain is the most-cited limitation and Apple's own listing warns the app uses location in the background; an App Store reviewer reports losing recordings because the app pauses for an incoming call and never resumes or prompts, which directly undercuts the marketing claim that it pauses automatically; background noise defeats a single phone mic outdoors; there is no video, no content search across recordings and no geo-tagging. Then the part that should decide a purchase: this product records homeowners inside their own homes, the setting with the highest expectation of privacy in US law, and around a dozen states require all-party consent with criminal exposure attached. Siro ships configurable consent tooling and publishes its own state-by-state guide written by the CEO — but that guide omits Maryland and Florida from its all-party list and moves Connecticut to "context-dependent," which is not the standard classification, and the privacy policy puts the customer "solely responsible" for consent and every applicable legal requirement. The risk of one rep forgetting to ask sits with the contractor, not with Siro. Finally, no EU data residency, no security.txt, no vulnerability-disclosure path, and no published penetration test.
