Sprinto
A $15,000 median contract buys the cheapest full-featured GRC platform in the category and the only no-code agent builder in it. What it does not buy is an MCP server, a named model, or one independently verified number behind the word autonomous.

Two things buyers consistently miss. The AI security questionnaire automation is capped at 20 per year on both plans, and AI Governance, the module you would buy Sprinto for if EU AI Act work is the driver, is an add-on on both. Renewal uplift runs 5-10% as standard but 20-40% for teams whose headcount crosses a tier band or who add a framework, with one G2 user reporting 40% above year one. For EU buyers there is a second question: India is not an adequacy country under GDPR Article 45, so confirm data residency and standard contractual clauses in writing before signing.

Strengths
Sprinto is 30-50% cheaper than Vanta, Drata and Secureframe on a like-for-like SMB footprint and it does not nickel-and-dime the core: audit management, risk, vendor management and policy management are in the platform rather than sold as modules. AI Playground is the genuine differentiator, a no-code builder that lets a compliance team stand up its own agents for vendor risk analysis, evidence-gap assessment or risk scoring against live program context, on both plans, when the competition keeps agent construction firmly on the vendor's side of the line. The governance posture is stated cleanly: human-in-the-loop as architecture, no customer data used for training, ISO 42001 alignment. The developer API offers US, EU and India base URLs, and a lead auditor is included for the first audit on every framework in your plan, which for a first-timer is worth real money. G2 sits at 4.8 across roughly 1,300-1,500 reviews, the highest score of the four major platforms.
Honest dings
The protocol gap is the big one. In August 2026 both direct competitors run hosted MCP servers with regional endpoints, OAuth and write actions, and Sprinto has none, so third parties are generating MCP servers from its API to fill the hole. The API itself is a liability in that context: admin-only keys with full access to the entire graph and scoped keys still listed as future work. Nothing else about the AI is inspectable either. No model named, no eval you can run, no trace of an agent run, and the Autonomous Trust Platform claims are five months old with zero independent verification. Commercially, the pricing evidence base is thin at about seven tracked contracts, questionnaire automation is capped at 20 per year, AI Governance is an add-on, and renewals commonly land 20-40% higher when headcount crosses a band. Independent reviewers converge on the same two limits: integration coverage thins on niche and on-premise systems despite the 300+ headline, and customisation hits walls in complex enterprise environments.
